Hidden Figures speaks to every woman who balances MIND, BODY and SPIRIT, while remaining CONFIDENT, COMFORTABLE and CAPTIVATING.

Jasmine Vough is a hidden figure. She is a 28-years-old fierce, gi-getter who lives on the Upper West side of Manhattan in New York City. She is all about high fashion and aspirational designs which is also why she loves the Jordan Brand. Jasmine works at Vogue Magazine as the Director of special events which entails putting on the Met Gala.

Our team designed a footwear collection for different times of Jasmine's day. Each shoe aligns with her mind, body and spirit.

Jasmine travels around the world and is always on the go. She is a frecuent flyer, that is whu my design focused on the traveling aspect of her life.

Problems

Swollen feet due to long hours sitting in the plane

Tectonic plates constantly moving, adapting and changing

Ideation

Laceless shoe with a bootie that Jasmine can easily remove from the upper and walk around or sleep comfortable in it.

Final design

The bootie also has a hidden detail. For Jasmine safety, the bottom part has an anti-slip design of the Virgo constellation, her birth sign.

Tech Pack

The tooling is made out of clear rubber. This makes the design visibly light and airy. Gives the feeling that Jasmine is floating above the ground.
